The Clustar(tm) Method
The Clustar(tm) Method is a technology-independent, object-oriented approach to writing chunks of content that are reusable in many different places, for many different reasons.
Instead of writing the way most of us were taught in grade school, (with hierarchically based outlines and structures), you create chunks of content based on their similarities and then assemble those chunks according to a plan (we call ours the Clustar(tm) BluPrint).
what's it do for me
- reduces training costs for content developers
- makes it easier to spread the content development efforts throughout a team or to use less experienced content developers
- makes it easier change team members midstream since everyone follows the same rules
- reduces inconsistencies and errors
- reduces the question-and-answer typically involved in creating content (What about? What if? Which one is right this one or that one?)
- speeds up the content development process (no more guessing about what to include, what to exclude)
- reduces the costs of converting from one tool or media to another
- makes it possible to convert content into a high-powered database
